    About Gabriela:

    “My name is Gabriela-Andreea Drăgușin, I’m a second-year student at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology. Being eager to know everything about everything, I found out about CODHUS and how they operate. I was impressed by the fact that the team combines IT with the humanities, which is why I wanted to know more about the centre, and I wanted to be part of it.. I believe that it will be very useful both from a technological point of view and from a linguistic point of view and that is why I decided to apply for this research centre.”

    “My name is Claudia and I am an M.A- student within the study programme German in european context. Interdisciplinary and multicultural studies at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, WUT. I am passionate about everything connected to Philology, however the main focus lies on literature. I signed up for an internship at CODHUS, because I wish to expand my knowledge in the field of Philology, to improve my digital skills and discover new research horizons.”

    I am Italian and I am in Timișoara as an Erasmus Student at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology. I am curios, creative and always looking for something new to learn. I am passionate about languages, cultures, and translation studies. I chose to take part in the CODHUS program as an intern during my mobility in Romania because this is an opportunity to discover more about linguistics and all the related aspects. This is also an opportunity to challenge myself in a completely new place and environment, learning various skills in different fields and helping with my knowledge of Italian.

    As an intern within CODHUS, I would like to do some research in different fields, like those of linguistics and translation, which I am very fond of. I have always been curious about these disciplines discovering deeply the main characteristics and details that make them truly unique. I hope to help with my knowledge of languages and cultures contributing also to look for new techniques and methods of research and study.

    About Paula: “My name is Andrei Anamaria Paula, I am a BA student and I am studying English and German Language and Literature, at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology. I decided to apply to CODHUS because the idea of combining two different fields – IT and Humanities – has made me both curious and interested. I see CODHUS as a challenge that I dearly accept! I am a cheerful, responsible, and hard-working person. I believe that this center will help me develop not only professionally by gaining new knowledge, but also personally by developing myself as a person.”

    About Elena: “I have decided to apply to the CODHUS program for practice, because I want to learn and deepen the knowledge and skills needed to discover as much as possible about the fields of linguistics and technology. I am also eager to discover how these fields can be combined, facilitating the study of the humanities.

    During my studies so far, I have discovered that I am passionate about communication, both from the perspective of interpersonal dialogue, sharing knowledge and opinions, and from the perspective of dynamic, interactive presentation, from as many angles of knowledge as possible.

    I am a proactive person with a good ability to work with people, while having analytical and creative thinking. At the same time I love animals and enjoy hiking.”

    About Timeea: “My name is Lazăr Timeea, but my preferred name is Tim and I am a first year student at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, specializing in English and Romanian Language and Literature. I am very passionate about music, my greatest love being metal. I also spend my free time playing video games and reading. I am a somewhat shy person, but I can be determined and imposing if the situation calls for it. My involvement in CODHUS is due to my wish to challenge myself and to the fact that I am curious about research.”

    About Andreea: “In general, I am passionate about everything related to philology, being inclined more towards the literature side. The environment conducive to language research, the possibility of involvement in various projects and the improvement of digital skills were the reasons why I wanted to know more about the center and decided that it would be great to be part of it. I believe that CODHUS is the best place where I can explore my interests, learn new things and prepare for my future career as a philologist.”

    About Ariana: “My name is Teodor Bianca-Ariana and I am a first year student at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, Bachelor studies, specialization: Romanian and English Language and Literature. I consider myself an ambitious person who always succeeds in realising everything that she intends. I am passionate about arts, especially modern and classical literature written in both Romanian and English. I chose CODHUS because of the opportunities it may give me in the field of digital research and the abilities this program may develop, which include my communication skills. The main reason I decided to apply for an internship at CODHUS was the chance to take part in research projects, but I also believe this experience will benefit me both on a personal, and professional level.”

    About Daria: “My name is Daria Vlădica and I am a student in the first year of Bachelor studies at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, specializing in German and English Language and Literature. My professional interests focus on the study of these two foreign languages, German and English, interests that stem from my dream to have a career in the educational system. A few things I am passionate about might include singing, building a collection of films and vinyl records and creative writing. I decided to join the CODHUS team, for the chance of learning from passionate people and because I want to develop new skills in both the digital field and humanities field.”
